Golden Masala Oats Recipe

Masala Oats are made with steel-cut oats in a rich curry sauce that’s usually spicy.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup steel-cut oats
  • 2 T oil
  • ½ cup diced red onion
  • 1 serrano chili diced
  • 1.5 oz. ( 1/2 PackagSukhi’s Classic Curry Paste
  • 3 cup water
  • 1 t salt
  • 1 t turmeric
  • ¼ t lemon juice

Instructions

  • Dry Roast the oats on medium/low heat for about 2-3 minutes. Set aside
  • Heat oil
  • Add onions and serrano chili sauté
  • Add roasted oats, mix well
  • Add water
  • Add classic curry paste, mix well
  • Bring to a boil and reduce to your liking
