Bun Samosa or Samosa Sliders, like the recipe we’re sharing with you today, is one example of Indian street food! You can think of Samosa Sliders as an Indian burger to eat on the go. In this recipe, we’re using Sukhi’s Potato Samosas, buns, tomatoes, onions, cilantro (green) chutney, lettuce, butter, and chilis.

Bun Samosa (Samosa Sliders) Traditions

Growing up with two working parents, both doctors, Sukhi’s family was often busy and on the go. That said, they somehow always managed to make sure that good food was a priority. A big family, Sukhi always had aunts and other relatives visiting who were amazing cooks and she learned many recipes from them. Bun Samosa is one of those recipes!

Samosa Sliders is made with love and brings back such fond childhood memories for Sukhi. Every bite has a burst of flavor and they’re so easy to make and take on the go. She’s happy to share this recipe with all of you and hopes that it helps you to create some fond memories — over good food — of your own.

Cilantro Chutney in a Bowl

Green Cilantro Chutney

On this Samosa Slider, we use green chutney for a delicious, tangy flavor! Green chutney, also known as Cilantro Chutney or hari chutney, is a condiment that originated in India. It uses cilantro or mint, vinegar, sugar, and lemon juice as some of the main ingredients.

Green chutney goes great on burritos, tacos, salads, burgers, or even as a dip! We love using green chutney in this recipe because it really gives the Samosa Sliders a burst of flavor.
